Private Helicopter License Training

The holder of an Private Pilot Helicopter License may act as pilot-in-command or co-pilot for any type of helicopter endorsed on one's license |
| AGE: | Candidates must be 17 years of age |

| MEDICAL FITNESS: | Assessed as fit to hold a Category 3 Aviation Medical |
||||||||||||||||||
| KNOWLEDGE: |
Applicants shall have completed a minimum of 40 hours of groundschool as outlined by Transport Canada As well, successful completion of Transport Canada’s two written examinations for issue of the private Pilot License |

| EXPERIENCE: |
A minimum of 45 hours of flight training in helicopters which shall include the following: |

| SKILL: | Successful completion of a flight test to the standard outlined in the applicable Transport Canada Flight Test Guide | ||||||||||||||||||
